Nice phone!

This is my first smart phone but I have had an ipod touch for years. Yes, I love my ipod touch but I never wanted to pay the full whack for an iphone. This phone is great value and does everything I need it to. I love the visual voicemail and the voice-activated texting, search engine, navigation,etc.- really cool stuff! No need to download an app - it is there from the start! I have always had a good experience with Samsung phones and I am very happy with this one so far!
Pros: Inexpensive, Lightweight
I would recommend this to a friend!

Over all I really like my Samsung Gravity Smart... Although I do wish it had more internal memory. I also have not found how to personalize a ringtone to a specific contact and I wish it had that.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Realistic color, slide out keyboard
Cons: can not personalize ringtone to specific contact

Great Starter Phone !

If you are new to android, this is excellent. It is very durable, lightweight and user friendly. Getting apps is hard after you have soo many because you cannot save directly to your sd card but I think that is an android problem. I love my phone. I have had/expirenced every Gravity ! The keyboard is a little different on the Smart but you will adjust quick (; Also the battery only gives about 8 or so hours depending on the screen brightness and the apps you use. The music player is probably my favorite feature. It is so simple and the built-in speaker is great. Overall I love this phone and would reccomend it to anyone.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: low memory issues, battery life

Sorry, but I returned this phone. I thought I was upgrading my phone but this on was really bad. I loved my Gravity T but I was having problems with it also. The sound on the new Gravity Smart was really bad. It had a terrible echo, I had it only 10 to 12 days & was not receiving my calls or texts. We have had Samsung cells ever since they came out, but I had to get a different cell this time. I hope that there are some improvements in the near future. Sorry, but I just could not live with these problems.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations, poor sound
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The lack of Battery power keeps you from using all the tools. I have to recharge the standered battery three time a day 4 hrs to fully recharge

Nice but problematic

I have had 3 gravity smarts phones so far since the beginning of 2011. I had to exchange it due to it becoming hot, battery draining to much, or the phone is constantly getting stuck ad I have no way to power it off at that time. The loading time is very slow for all applications including the web. The phone is constantly freezing up requiring me to pull out the battery to power it off. The happens constantly whether I am using it, charging it, or making a phone call.
Pros: Inexpensive
Cons: Poor quality, Not high def, Did not meet expectations, performance
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The Samsung Gravity Smart Qwerty is a good phone; however not very user friendly, because the instructions are very cryptic. They are written in a manner for the people that create and design the system to understand. Not ordinary people.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: not user friendly
