Very basic phone incapable of doing much of anything due to it's speed and storage.... Oh, did I say this storage? I meant buy an sd card because this phone has NO storage.
Pros: Inexpensive, Durable
Cons: no storage
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Memory?

The Samsung Gravity Smart had so much potential to be a great phone. I had upgraded to it from a gravity smart, and I was apprehensive about getting a full touch screen phone. I love the keyboard feature, and the capabilities this phone has, but the internal memory was horrible. The internal memory was basically non-existent and even with an SD card, the memory would constantly end up full. I cleared caches, deleted text messages, moved what apps I could to the SD card and would still run into memory issues. It was completely frustrating, because I could not even download a lot of apps, in fact, I think I only installed 3 at the end of the day. The issue with the memory is the primary reason I would never recommend this phone.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display
Cons: Did not meet expectations
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

So many issues...

This is the third I've owned in less than a year, the first, the battery corroded itself, second time, the camera would freeze, the screen becomes unresponsive, I have to completely pull the battery out to reboot it. With this latest one, again, I have to take the battery out to reboot it when it freezes, and it'll go from being fine one moment, to completely losing all networking ability, while I have full service. Of course there is also the memory issue, I've downloaded 3 apps, my pictures are all on a 12gb SD card, and when asking T-mobile about it, they just tell me to hack past the app hardware on the phone, which voids the warrenty, or delete anything(texts, calls, even contacts) to get my memory down below 25mb. I mainly chose this phone because I like Samsung products, and it had a qwerty keyboard, but once I can get upgraded, I will.
Pros: Inexpensive, Lightweight
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations, small internal memory, will not read sd card
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Expensive phone and slide breaks easily

The phone was expensive but had every feature that I wanted/needed for everyday use. The keyboard option is why I purchased this model. After 5 month's a piece fell out when I slid the phone open to send a text. Which in turn disabled the phone completely. The phone was great until it broke. It was never dropped or misused. I was rather disappointed.
I actually like the design that's why I bought the phone. Too bad it dies constantly, (even bought a new battery - didn't help!) and you can't store more than 5 apps without your phone fritzing out. I've had it 9 months, and am on my 3rd replacement phone.
Pros: Lightweight, good design
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations, battery life, memory space
