Sleek & Quiet

Love the french door design. So easy to clean with stainless steel cleaner. Bought the 25 Cubic size and it has plenty of room, love the large drawers. Freeze is easy to reach into. My kitchen & living room is an open design and you can watch TV and never hear the refrigerator. Love the sleek handles, it match's perfect with my LG gas double oven that caught my eye first. I have looked for years until I had peace with your prices & design, just what I needed.
Pros: Style/Design, Quality

The bottom of the fridge is visible from the side view which it shouldn't be but they didn't put the sheet metal together quite right. The only noticeable problem.

Great Fridge

The refrigerator does a great job at what it is supposed to do which is keep food cold and as a bonus it looks good doing it. The LED lights really make a nice impression when opening the doors.
The amount of storage space this refrigerator has for a 33" width is best in class.
Pros: Quality
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great Features

Temperature controls are easy to use and totally accessible. This refrigerator is so spacious you can either adjust the shelves for different heights or keep them at the same level. The freezer can fit a large pizza standing up and the bins are solid not the wire basket type and are just crazy deep. The sliding top drawer makes it easy to access the ice. Just totally impressed and pleased with this purchase.
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality

BIC lighter of refrigerators.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After reading the plethora of examples where LG's poorly designed compressor fails, I am able to find some level of comfort in not being alone. Support has been close to useless in getting this repaired. It is without hesitation that I suggest you look elsewhere. This company is making throw away appliances without regard for their customers wallets or our planet's environment. DO NOT BUY LG.
Pros: Style/Design
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Augie says... Expensive fridge with design flaws
on September 1, 2013

This fridge is ok, but has a design flaw with the french doors. There are 'cams' at the top of each door that are supposed to hold the door closed when the other door is closed. Both of these 'cams and seals' broke at almost the same time and if you do not consciously push both doors closed, then at least one door will remain open and everything inside will get warm and spoil if not caught in time. Very poor design, which was updated in newer models.
I called LG and they do not want to know anything about the flaw and advised me to contact the authorized parts distributor to buy the parts. Replacement parts are $50.00 plus shipping and installation. Not an easy job, so I have to call an installer to put them in.
Also, for the price, it did NOT come with an ice maker.
Not sure if I even want this fridge in my garage as a second unit.
Needless to say I am very disappointed with the LG product. I have LG phones and TV's and should have left it at that...
Anyone want to buy an expensive flawed fridge?

Would never purchase an LG refrigator again

While I like the style and the roominess of the refrigerator, we have had several problems with the whole appliance since the beginning. The crisper drawer handles regular pop off, the drawers are difficult to put back in after cleaning, the ice maker overflows and then spills all over the freezer and the floor, and the water unit to the ice maker regularly leaks under the appliance causing damage to our hardwood floors. Now after three years of use, the freezer is not functioning. I would not suggest to anyone to by another LG refrigerator after our experience.

Love LG
on May 22, 2013

We had an LG at our old house and had to leave it as part of the deal :( I was pretty sad because I LOVED it!! There wasn't anything we couldn't fit in it. I was sad to see that they changed the style of the fridge and freezer a little bit since that one, but we LOVE the new one too. I really like the newer style long pull out bins and the gallon size door compartments. The ice maker is smaller so it leaves more freezer space. Keeps everything great
