We had the LG for 8 years, and we had too many service calls. The compressor burnt out so we went with another brand

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had my LG refrigerator for about 3 years. I love the look and size it fits our needs. I only wish I could put my magnets back on the front, LOL.
I absolutely have LOVED this refrigerator: the capacity, the look, the features, the ease of cleaning. HOWEVER, this month, less than 10 years from buying this fridge, the freezer isn't freezing properly. Though we have lowered the temp, ice cream and other products do not freeze. We have had a repair man come and the computer has to be replaced. My former fridge lasted much longer. I'm just happy I bought an extended warranty on this one!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought my LG Stainless French Door Fridge In July 2012. I lived in an Apt with space for only a 33" wide fridge. At the time I purchased this fridge Lg was the only Company that offered one with 25 cu ft of space that was able to fit in a 33" wide space. All other brands only had 22 cu ft. I called Lg before purchasing it and asked how that they could offer 3 extra cu ft of space. They explained to me that they developed an insulation that was thinner and more dense. Therefore it could maintain the neccessary cold temperture levels in there fridge. Sounds like NASA Tech to me ! In the many years that I have owned this machine, I found this to be factual. Another Reason that I bought this Fridge, is that LG gives a 10 Year Warranty on the Compressor. Find me another Company that Offers that long of Compressor Warranty .
