Absolutely the best small electric tea kettle! If you only need to make two or three cups of tea or instant coffee, then this is what you should have. It is so nice looking that I leave it on my counter. Don’t forget, this little tea pot comes in handy for boiling water quickly for your beverage or when you need some hot water while cooking a meal. Remember, if you want good tasting tea, do not use hot water from the microwave!

This my second one. The first one finally gave out after 7 years of using it multiple times daily. It is the perfect size for 2 cups of coffee, heats really fast, and has a simple, classic design. Looks good just sitting on my counter.

Good electric kettle. It is light weight and heats 18oz of water quickly. This is just what I was looking for. I didn't give this kettle 5 stars because when the water comes to a boil with the lid closed and you pour the water in to a filter basket for one cup of coffee, the handle became very hot and the steam rose and almost burned my hand. My solution is to keep the lid open while boiling and pouring and it works great.

Chef'sChoice 673 Cordless Compact Electric Kettle. Failure waiting to happen but i still loved while it lasted.. This is a simple device almost no electronics only one LED lamp, the rest is old school tech the problem is its not constructed well and the electrical terminals loosen and over heat, melting the plastic around the terminals. After using this device for a year it began to stop boiling without the signal click of the handle knob shutting off, it was still on but it was not heating. After it cooled it began to boil again this repeats until it finally clicks off but there is risk as demonstrated by melted terminals internally. I opened the device both the kettle and the base for inspection. What i discovered was overheated spade terminals and melted plastic that supported them. Electrical terminals on this device are inadequate and it needs a complete redesign to prevent failure or risk of fire in my opinion.
