Maytag does it AGAIN! Love our new Stackable!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After having to replace our old Stackable that was 21 years old, one has to wonder, is the Quality is still the same today? I spent hours researching stackable washer and dryers and kept returning to Maytag as the reviews from people, just like myself, who loved their Maytag. I could have saved myself hours on the Internet if I had just trusted the history of my old set. We've had our new set for about 2 months and I am so impressed with the new technology within the washer. The water-saving feature left me worried at first but that has been replaced with "seeing is believing" in the clean clothes it produces and it's saving money. I am also very impressed with the sensor dry feature. Ok, so this dryer does seem to know when my clothes are dry. I'm serious! It makes you think it has a brain! (My little tinman!) Thank you Maytag for keeping your product high in efficiency, dependability and low in cost. Thank you for the peace of mind warranty too. My husband wanted me to mail in separate envelope, fearful the small, self-addressed warranty card would get lost in the mail. He was wrong! But we were both RIGHT to buy Maytag! The Snyder family in Tuscarawas County, Ohio!

Amazing machine!

We bought a house with a small space for the washer/dryer. This stacked duo fits perfectly into the space available, has economical water usage, and does a fantastic job both washing and drying our clothes. We're glad we bought it!

Super Efficient Wash System

I bought this system over a month ago and love it. It does a very good job cleaning and the dryer has a large enough capacity to handle heavy loads. It has numerous settings that allow maximum flexibility to meet all needs.

Bought a discontinued model to replace a 25+ year old Maytag combo. Very happy with features and eye towards efficiency - water level, dry sensor and reduced wash times. I hope it lasts as long as the old one. Bravo.

Maytag stackable

We replaced a 26 year old Maytag stackable with this one. Maytag was the only brand that would fit the original space. The washer is quite noisy and the tub only fills half way, even on a full load. However, it suits our needs since I don't fill the tub with clothes. We have only had the stackable for a little over 1 week. I only hope this machine lasts as long as the other one did. It was basically trouble free. I am hoping that the Maytag name is just as dependable as it has always been in the past. I do like the knobs. The old machine had an electronic control panel.

The only complaint I have with my washer/dryer unit is that I wish the washer tub was larger. It does a good job of cleaning and drying, so that is what matters.It is also much better than my old brand!

Matag- Staked Electric Pair

This product replaces a 17 year old one. Both dryer and washer have a smaller capacity that I don't like. The knobs are too high up for short people unlike my old one where they are in the middle. Also you should consider that most go into small closets making it very hard to see the dryer timer knob. Also the washer is pretty loud for condos, especially for an upstairs unit. It's not like my old one but this one is similar to other brands so it's not just yours. i'm sorry to sound so negative, but you asked.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
