Great for the price

This refrigerator works great. The one it replaced was completely broken so it was a novelty to have a refrigerator that keeps foods cold! It is a little smaller which is good for my space, but it is a little too lightweight and wobbles sometimes. When the compressor cycles, it makes more noise than I would prefer, but it is still much quieter than the old one. Overall, it is a great refrigerator. I have had it for about 5 months.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Whirlpool Excellence - Size, Inside design very convenient

This 14 cu ft refrigerator was purchased 3 months ago and it has been excellent. We needed a smaller refrigerator to fit the space where it was to go and this one was perfect.The size, interior design for food placement was very convenient as well as the reliability of Whirlpool. Over 30 years we have had a washer and dryer plus a refrigerator which shows the Whirlpool quality. I recommend their products.

Doesn't regulate temperature well

This frig freezes everything in the back bottom area if turned to normal temperature.

I am very pleased with my Whirlpool refrigerator. It does an excellent job of keeping items cold. I have always been pleased with Whirlpool products.

door gasket and coldness

I am frustrated with the lower door gasket (freezer is on top). The top end corner area of door doesn't close all the way, letting out the cold air. So, for the past weeks I've tried everything such as: applying a little vasoline to help with the seal, putting scotch tape over area where air is coming out, taping the door shut tight, even putting little strips of leather inside the door gasket lip to prop it outward so as to grip onto the refrigerator better. At first I followed the trouble shooting suggestions in the product direction booklet. All have worked (separately or in combo) temporarily to some degree, but at the end of the day (or in a couple hours) the gasket loosens again and cold air escapes. It's now my daily routine to tape the door 3-4 times a day. Whirlpool was recommended to me by a relative who sells refrigerators at a major dept store, and I'm disappointed. Also at some point when I first got the fridge, it froze my food in the lower compartment. But now that doesn't happen, so it may have remedied itself. (or maybe the gasket leak keeps it from freezing). The upper freezer door gasket works great, and I'm very happy about that. For quality, overall all it is fair to average. I almost put in a poor rating due to the ongoing frustrating gasket issue on lower door, but the rest of the fridge (so far) seems okay.
