Simple and affordable

I wasn't looking for any bells and whistles, just a box to keep my food cold. I haven't had any problems with it so I'd recommend it so far. It took a lot longer than I thought to switch the door direction so just hope it comes already the way you need it :)

Too loud and poor temp control

We've owned a similar Whirlpool for 18 years without a problem but the new one was more then twice as loud. We could hear the refrigerator running from our living room even with the tv, air conditioner and fan running. I could even hear it from my bedroom at night. Middle door shelf was too small to hold any condiments. Ice cream was soft so bought a thermometer to check the temperature. The refrigerator was in the freezing temps and the freezer was 15 degrees too warm. Unit only has one control for both compartments so ended up freezing food in the refrigerator in an attempt to get the freezer cold enough. Turned down the temp and the freezer wasn't safe to use. Returned for refund
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This product is very good I just wish that the men that delivered it would have leveled it. They said that the company says it is best to leave it tiltedback and I find it very hard to get things in before the door closes.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Just right size for one

I replaced my 42 year old unit with this Whirlpool.....it fit in my space perfectly. A little louder than my old unit....have only had for 1 month.

Small, affordable, no frills fridge that works great

I've had this fridge about a year now and so far, it has performed just fine. It's small and storage space is limited but for one person, it's worked out okay. Regarding the design, the only inconvenience I've run into has to do with the temperature control box which is located at the front and center of the refrigerator ceiling, making it a bit of a pain to store taller food items like a pitcher of tea or half gallon of milk. These items must go to the sides of the control box if you're looking to store them on top. I'm very sensitive to noise levels and this fridge is perfectly acceptable with regard to operational noise. For the price, I've been quite happy with this purchase.
