Love my refrigerator, has great features and easy to use,auto defrost so no mess to clean up from defrosting. Lots of room in both freezer and fridge. Save on energy and doesn't make much soundWould definately recommend to friends and family.

Very good for small families of about no more than 3 if you dont eat and stock away alot. Brought this to eliminate waste of space and food spoilage. It very good with the freezing food in a short time.

Perfect for our needs

This refrigerator was purchased we needed additional space for keeping both frozen and fresh food. We placed this unit in the garage just outside the door and close to the kitchen. It is exactly what we needed in terms of extra food storage capability and is performing perfectly. Since it is new it also does its job using a small amount of electricity since it is energy efficient. For those needing a great extra refrigerator I would highly recommend this unit based on its performance, cost of operation and purchase price.

Great design

I purchased the refrigerator1-2 months ago at a decent price and is working great. I like were the condenser is located for easy cleaning, the compressor is quiet, keeps accurate temperatures, and is large inside for lots of storage. Great design Whirlpool! Thanks Paul.

Great Value as Second Refrigerator

A very similar refrigerator we inherited from my grandparents finally died after 29-1/2 years of faithful service. It was a second / overflow refrigerator located in our basement laundry room. A major consumer magazine reported that Whirlpool is (still) one of 4 manufacturers with excellent reliability records. The freezer is slightly larger than the older unit that was replaced while the refrigerator portion is about the same size. (Overall capacity is 0.3 cubic feet larger than the older unit - 14.4 v. 14.1.) Both refrigerator and freezer have adjustable wire shelves and fixed door shelves. The refrigerator does NOT have a deli drawer, if that is important to you, but does have two crisper drawers. Some reviewers have complained about the noise level. It is a bit noisier than the replaced unit and than our kitchen refrigerator, but much quieter than our forced-air heating system. Since it is in the basement, this is not an issue. Overall, my wife and I decided this unit is a great value.
