Small but Efficient

you really need to put the freezer on the bottom where it does not have to cool not only the compartment, but also the heat rising from the compressor. Automatic defrost is a power waster.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This fridge definitely serves it's purpose. I have a big family and someone is always going in and out of the refrigerator. It's sturdy and durable. I love that it is a energy saver. The refrigerator portion is a good size. I wish the freezer was a little bit larger.
