I have used this refrigerator for one month. So far it seems worthy of its Energy Star rating, though the sound level could be improved.

Excellent operation with less electricity

I recently acquired a Whirlpool 18 cu. ft. Top Freezer refrigerator. I am very happy with the operation of this appliance. I have six children in the house for a few hours everyday and it gets opened and closed many times during the day. My previous unit would not keep the refrigerator cool and the freezer freezing, especially with the kids around. With this unit the temperature is very satisfactory and steady.
I would recommend this to a friend!
