great smooth phone

I have had a few android phones on att. I started out with the motorola backflip which almost made me never want an android again. then i had the captivate which was pretty decent. I have had this phone now and it is by far the best android phone I have had. The 3D display is pretty good and there are many 3D games to get for it. The 4g is pretty good considering it isn't LTE. The battery life is absolutely terrible but you can easily fix that by getting juice defender from the android market. The camera is awesome and it does have the ability to take 3d pictures but i find myself never using that feature. It runs all of my games very smooth and the movie store it comes with is decent, but not the best but that is easily fixed with the movie rental from the android app store. This phone really makes the Android software look good because it runs it so smooth with its 1ghz dual core processor. Overall this is a great phone and I would definitely recommend it.
Pros: menus, games, camera/video quality, speaker, Wi-Fi capable, ease of use, good for texting, 3d
Cons: battery life
I would recommend this to a friend!

I didn't really intend to get this phone, but overall I do enjoy it. I have had it now for about 3 months. The display is beautiful and if you know the Android system, it is quite easy to navigate. It is a big heavy & large but at the same time, nice big display to look at and to type on. The only real issue I have is the battery life is pretty horrid. I am not going to lie about that. If you don't mind charging your phone every night then it can be overlooked. I would recommend downloading the AppKiller to cut down on battery use!
Pros: camera/video quality, Wi-Fi capable, durable, ease of use, good for texting
Cons: battery life, bulky/heavy

I had an iphone 4g and I gave it to my daughter and thought I would just go to a plain jane phone, well after having the iphone I couldn't take it. I was getting a new phone and saw the LG Thrill 4g and decided to get it, that was the best choice I have ever made I love this phone, (more than the iphone) it is easy to use and is fast, the key board is big and i don't push two the wrong letter because they are too close together. This phone is AWESOME, I wore the battery down in the first day I had it because I couldn't stay off of it. I would deffinately choose this phone.
Pros: tools, menus, camera/video quality, speaker, battery life, Wi-Fi capable, durable, ease of use, good for texting
Cons: bulky/heavy

Fantastic phone, fabulous features!

This is a fantastic phone. It is easy to use, has fantastic features and applications (such as the 'Car Home' feature which allows you to make calls, send text messages, and find directions without having to type anything in!); the volume is great and gets quite loud (I have difficulty hearing but I can hear the person on the other end just fine WITHOUT having to use the speaker-phone function); the menus are fairly easy to navigate once you familiarize yourself with with them; the text-prediction function is helpful for texting quickly; the 3D games/videos/pictures are unusual but a very cool function.
The only problem I have run into so far is with the battery life - it doesn't last long and I usually end up charging my phone during the day while I am at work. I use my phone mostly for texting, calling, and the occasional email checking, so if you plan on doing more than that (did I mention all the cool games and features?), you will need another charger or car charger to take with you so that you can keep your phone charged and ready when you are on the go.
Also, this phone is quite large. Now I can see how this could be a problem for those of you who, like me, usually carry your phone in the front pocket of your jeans. This phone does not fit well in my pocket and sticks out a bit (keep in mind that women's pockets tend to be smaller - this is part of my problem). However, I love the large screen as it is great for playing games, watching movies, and surfing the web. So it sticks out of your pocket a bit or you have to carry it in your purse -- big deal. This is truly a small price to pay for all the enjoyment you will get out of having a larger viewing area on the screen of your phone.
Pros: tools, menus, games, camera/video quality, speaker, Wi-Fi capable, ease of use, good for texting
Cons: battery life, bulky/heavy

I upgraded from the Inspire. I love the Android OS so I had to stay with it. The LG Thrill is a fantastic phone with all the new 3D apps and games, with more still yet to come. It is a little bit bigger than the Inspire but not enough to notice.
The functionality overall and small window changes are minor and only takes a few minutes to get familiar with them again.
The only con I can provide is the poor battery life. If you use it a lot throughout the day for its full capacity of features, you will need to stay near a power outlet.
I would recommend this phone to anyone and everyone. You will not be disappointed!
Pros: tools, menus, games, camera/video quality, speaker, Wi-Fi capable, ease of use, good for texting
Cons: battery life
