Great color options

I work for the military and I have been revamping and refurbishing our central tool system! I have been following a red white and blue theme! This machine had alloud me to maintain a clear tool etching following the patriotic theme for all of our 10,000 plus tools. I have been quite please with its performance. Only thing I wished it had was a warning when you are running close to running out of tape.
I would recommend this to a friend!

No issues with the printer, just the carrying case

Retired our XL printer with the purchase of the PT-D600VP. The hard shell carrying case incorporates a soft vinyl hinge, not a "pin" type. Its not going to last like the case for the XL.

Love it, just what i was looking for

I've had a few label makers in past but none have had the versatility of this Brother. Love the fact you can use so many variables as far as size and colors, and the lighted display is hard to find one you can actually read. Thank you for what i believe is a superior product

Whoever got to work on the engineering of this PT Printer was having fun! The operation of the device is smooth and intuitive, even the extra characters interface. I love it. This is such an improvement over the devices it is replacing, I am in awe. I still use the small P-Touch for when I need the mini tapes, but other than that I use the new one almost every day. I know I am supposed to mention details here, but, honestly, it's hard to find any problems. Other than the print button being in the wrong place, which is a problem when you want to hit delete and you hit print instead, and that's just a matter of getting used to the model.

Works well, bu a bit complicated

Labeler seems to work well. I like/use the PC connection. However, writing simple single line labels is a bit complicated. If I am close to the length boundary, I can't tell if the label will be readable unless I do a "Print Preview". A tutorial video might help.

This label maker rocks - may have to get another one for the greenhouse. I've had this one in the garage, in the house, in my she shed.... Labels for everything. And... it is so easy to use. Right out of the box. Can't wait to check out all the features.... I highly recommend this label maker!!!!

Although the unit works well, I am disappointed that it can only use the TZe tapes and not the TZ tapes, of which I have many.

Not your old rotary label maker!!

Works flawlessly out of the box. The best part is the ability to use the hundreds of fonts on my computer in the labels. So far I've only used it like a printer through the computer software and it's exactly what I was looking for.
