Not what I expected

This is my first OtterBox and from everything I heard I expected a case that would blow my mind...instead I blew my budget on a good, but not great, case. First of all, if you don't get the screen protector on perfectly, the soft rubber part of the case pushes up under the edges of the protector so it doesn't adhere anymore (and the case only comes with one screen protector). Secondly, the fit between the hard rubber and soft rubber part of the case is not as snug as I'd like it to be. The case does its job of protecting the phone, but its mechanics are a disappointment.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Cracked

Had the case on the phone for a month now, the case is cracked near the charging port.
This is my second case from Otter Box. The other one was for Galaxy S2 few years back and that one served its purpose pretty well. The case for LG G2 is overall pretty good, but not excellent. I like the tight fit and the double-piece design that always was a flagship of all commuter cases. Now, the screen protector it comes with is below the average. It easily scratches and after two weeks of light use, it already has permanent scratch marks. Second: the phone jack is covered with a "flap" a piece of rubber that protects it when not in use. But when the headphones are inserted, the flap awkwardly stick out, they are just too big and oddly shaped. I'm tempted to surgically cut that piece off since it only covers the hole for the jack. Also, the phone is rather a large device and even I consider my hands to be size L, the phone sometimes simply slips out of my hand. Part of it is because it's just big, but also other part is because the case if made out of plastic that is kind of smooth and slick in the hands. It just easily glides through the fingers. I have counter that by applying non-skid tape (a abrasive tape used for footing at certain locations) that is cut to fit the back of the phone in the places where fingers make the most contact. I noticed improved grip and better handling, but also sliding in and out of pockets and tight spaces became difficult. Overall great case but the screen protector is bad. I would recommend to my friend.
Pros: High quality, Durable, tight fit, awesome fit for buttons
Cons: easily slips out, screen protector is way below par
I love my OtterBox. It's exactly what I needed to protect my incredibly skinny and seemingly fragile phone. The screen protector isn't the best but that could have been the way I put it on. Also, the white and pink case can get dirty pretty quickly but it's nothing you can't get out. Other than that, the case is great and makes me feel like my phone is truly protected.
I will attempt to make this as short as possible, but before I begin I want to say that Otter Box has the very best support any product could have.
Let me begin. I purchased a new LG G2 AT&T phone and immediately purchased a Defender Otter Box. I had this unit on a HTC phone for three years, dropped it many times and roughed it up many times. I still have the phone and it works (I wanted a new toy) Defender = Great protection.
The Defender for the LG G2 not so good. My phone had a echo on the receivers side as they spoke. I could not hear it but whoever I called said it was terrible. So bad in fact I was told not to call using my new phone. I removed the cover and the phone did not echo. In fact, if the rubber cover was removed it was fine. I contacted Otter Box Customer support explained the problem and a new Defender was on its way. But to no avail…. same problem. I again contacted Otter Box Customer support and (I think) they sent a Commuter series quickly with no hassle. Guess what… same problem. When the Otter Box did not request the return of the Defender I removed the rubber from the bottom of the case (razor blade). Am told it has improved a little. I think Otter Box has an amazing product but not for the LG G2. What can I say but Thank You Otter Box and I am looking at other phone protection products. I feel I have hassled them enough over this issue.
If this product is improved or a fix to the issue I would like to know.
Thank You Otter Box for the Excellent Customer Support
Pleased with the commuter series otterbox I purchased for my LG G2. I have a habit of dropping things, so this protective case has more than paid for itself just in saving my new phone from damage. Stylish, and purposeful. I would recommend this case to anyone needing good protection for their phone. It has 2 layers, and the smooth outer case allows it to easily slide right into my pocket when not in use.
I love the cases from Otter Box. Mine broke at the bottom where the charger goes and all I did was go online and follow the instructions for the warranty and received a new case no questions asked. This lifetime warranty is defiantly worth the large price tag along with keeping my phone safe. Thank you Otter Box.
Pros: High quality
Cons: not may choices for my phone
I would recommend this to a friend!

Bad Design and Bad Quality

I have had an OtterBox before and loved it, but I can't use this case.
I can't hang on to it because it's too slippery. Even the silicone parts are slippery. They don't even feel like silicone, it's more like a pliable plastic.
And there are seams from manufacturing all over the phone in both layers! The 2 parts don't even fit together properly. There's a gap where the edge of the outer plastic layer should meet the inner "silicone" layer.
ALSO: I had bought a screen protector from another store, and had them install it for me. It's not a self-adhesive one; they had to spray stuff on and dry it out. It supposedly has a lifetime guarantee on it. But this case peeled up the corners before it was even on for 5 minutes. That is unacceptable. I can't imagine what it does to the self-adhesive one it comes with.
Pros: port covers
Cons: Low quality, bad design, slippery, wrecks screen protectors, silicone feels like plastic, layers fit poorly
