Good device for less.

I experienced more than a few Lumia's and will continue to try other Microsoft or Lumia devices. This Lumia 635 was my introduction to Cortana windows 8.1. I was very surprised with the phone performance for a low price and, Cortana was a excellent idea. The U.I is consistently fast and, user friendly. I enjoy my 5mpx camera but, would suggest a flash for rear cameras on all devices. A front camera would have made this my flagship Lumia. The battery life is good, call quality is excellent, display is satisfactory and, I love my option of changing the shell and the SD memory expansion. I find the on board memory great because we can save apps to SD and, we do have cloud storage for docs and pics. It's pretty easy to manage memory. Out of all the Lumia devices I've owned;900, 520, 521 and 925, I enjoy this one the most. I feel that I got a better 521 in which, was my motivator towards returning to Windowsphone.

Good phone for the price

This is my first real smart phone and it feels natural. If you are a Windows 8 user then using a Windows phone should be no problem. Setting it up was relatively easy. Having a few problems getting the phone app to work on the desktop but not really an issue.
Cortana is great and the speech to text is superb. Especially for those of with fat fingers.
Just wish we could customize Cortana more. Changer her name, adjust the tone of the voice and the like.
I do not give out 5 stars on most reviews so 4 is my highest rating unless the product is spectacular. This one is good and nearly close to spectacular.

Excellent phone for calls, data, sms almost everything

I was hoping sprint would add more Nokia phones so I kept waiting and using my old android. I finally gave in two months ago and purchased the only Nokia available 635. So pleasantly surprised. It is an excellent phone.
Call quality is excellent. Data is fast, easy, reliable. When I use Bing, it is incredibly fast and I like that. SMS is a breeze. I like 8.1 and use most of the programs, one drive, one note, office, etc. This phone makes that even easier. Cortana is light years better than the S voice I was using on my Galaxy. I am really happy with it.
As I always like the latest, greatest technology, I'm looking forward to the latest greatest Nokia to come to Sprint.
Downside: 1. I would like a better camera. This is okay but I would love to have the super camera on the 1028. Also, front facing is needed, at least for me.
2. It needs more apps, like online banking. I have already talked to my credit union about making their app for the windows phone also. I don't do a lot of games but it I want the option, as well as the learning apps.

I got this phone for practically nothing as a back-up when my previous android failed, and I have been surprised by the overall quality and ease-of-sue of the devise. I thought I would keep it a few days; it's been ten months now. What do I like? The camera, the interface, and Cortana.

Great phone for the price

I've had this through at&t for a while and have no complaints. I found that if you install the PC app on your computer there are many more options for the phone as far as personalization and custom abilities to add to the phone. I have had a few friends switch to this phone as well. Although I'm waiting for the 640xl I can't complain about my phone now.

My. First ever smart phone. That is also a Windows phone. Very good experience. But some features are found missing. Storage capacity should be more.

I have owned the phone for approx.3 mo. and the only way to go on the interner is to be near wifi 3g,or4g does not work I will have to concede to an android next time.i love windows 8.1 just not on a phone
