I got this one as a replacement and havent used it yet but if my experience is anything then i expect it to be lot more scratch resistant than the shiny Samsonite it is a replacement of.

Good capacity. Easy to access. TSA locks are very easy and secure. Not too cumbersome to drag when you are traveling alone. LOVE this bag. In case, you shop and need more capacity the additional zipper allows expansion.

A zippered hard case with expansion zipper? Defeats purpose?

I can do 5 days with a carry on bag, but when it is Business related I need something bigger. This bag fits the bill. I like hard cases as I often have beer, growlers or glassware in my bag that needs protection. I have not yet used the expansion but that seems to defeat the purpose of the protection afforded with a hard sided case. Got such a good deal I decided to buy it even with my reservations. Less than 10 lbs means one can still pack 40 lbs. Hope the zippers hold when I fill to capacity. Speaking of the wheels, they are as sturdy as I have found in a spinner case. Should outlast the zippers.

This suiitcase is very well-built. I love the colors and it is easy to distinguish from the other traditional black suitcase. The locking mechanism is really cool. Good compartments. I bought one first and I immediately placed another order after I received the first one.
