Former French pressed - love my tassimo

I used to brew a French press every morning, but going back to work and trying to get out the door with a two year old, i found I didn't have the time and was hitting Starbucks almost daily ($$$)! Several friends have Keurigs and I was looking at those, but found out about the tassimo and was sold on it. I love that I can mix it up everyday and have coffe, creams, lattes, whatever. It's also smaller than a Keurigs and my kitchen is tiny, so I love that it tucks into a corner and doesn't take up much counter space.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Better than Keurig

I own a Tassimo and Keurig machine. Tassimo makes a supreme cup of coffee flavor better than Keurig, because of the Intellibrew technology. It is at a perfect temperature and pure coffee flavor, since the Tassimo machines have a self cleaning disc. So, you get a fresh taste every time! Also, Tassimo has cappuccinos, latte etc. with real milk creamer, not powdered milk like Keurig. The only advantage Keurig has is more favors because of the popularity. Hopefully you are like me and do not choose something just because of the popularity. The taste and quality is what makes the best cup of coffee and is most important.

Life before Tassimo was, well, not exactly tasteless, but -- well -- blah.
There were choices. Usually. The $-bazillion cup that made me late for work. The stove-top espresso pot that regularly required 30 minutes of cleaning (pot and stove-top) upon return from work. The way-pricy turns-itself-on pot that made inconsistent coffee despite exact measurements of water and coffee. That same pot that didn't know the difference between Thursday and Sunday and thus made some really really strong coffee on Sunday -- and even turned itself on when you were on vacation and forgot to unplug it...
Now it is as if I have my very own barristo -- who knows enough not to attempt to bring coffee into the bedroom (except maybe Sunday...) and reads my coffee-loving mind before I even reach the kitchen -- all my faves at my fingertips, the day's selection ready at the same time as my toast -- is it too much to ask??
Not anymore! If it were legal, I might be tempted to marry my Tassimo....

Easy to Use

This is my second Tassimo machine. It is easy to use and I like the feature that lets you know when it needs to be de-scaled. My first Tassimo did not have that feature. I like the various drinks that can be made. I also like the feature that lets you add more water to the cup.

Have a Keurig that is bigger & works well, but love the footprint of the Tassimo! Takes up less space on the counter. Also the cartridges are smaller. It's quiet, too! VERY functional and looks great.

Tassimo is definitely one of the best companies I have ever dealt with. I needed assistance with troubleshooting, and not only are they available online to help you, they are also an easy phone call away. Because their machines are under a one year warrantee, when they realized there was something very wrong with my machine, they sent me a new one!

Can't get the coffee disc inserts

Until they can get the coffee disc more available, look at other brands. More stores carry them and they are rarely sold out. It is very hard to get the tassimo disc's. Always out of stock!
