It's Sierra Mist not Mountain Dew

Just got a Sodastream Source and a sample pack. The first flavor I have tried is the Fountain Mist and it's very good, certainly more like Sierra Mist than mountain Dew. I don't expect any of the Sodastream flavors to exactly duplicate a commercial flavor, there are just too many legal issues with that, but I will continue to use the flavors that I like.
Not sure why there all the complaints about it not tasting like Mountain Dew. I didn't expect it to. Maybe the flavor naming? I guess I focused on the Mist portion.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The Fountain Mist takes just like Mountain Dew! My fiance and I absolutely love it and always have some on-hand.

Cut back on the Fountain Mist concentrate and add some "Mio Energy Green Thunder". This helps shift the flavor a little closer as well as add the energy kick we want with Mt. Dew.

Nothing like Mountain Dew

I received a sample of this with my new Sodastream. I'm a huge Mountain Dew / Mellow Yellow fan and this isn't anything like either of them. I thought is was an ok citrus drink but I would compare it more to Faygo Moon Mist. It's not something I would drink a lot of.

I hear how people think it does not taste like MT DEW. 1st cut back on the Carbonation, 2nd it has real sugar not High fructose corn syrup.

Very upset can't get you soda syrups in stores. I loved the diet fountain mist. Has it been discontinued. Would no longer recommend. We highly praised in the past.
