First off I would like to say, "I'm a Pepper". Second I would like to say this does not really taste like Dr. Pepper but, is still is darn good and I would rather drink it than all the sodium (read salt) that the store bought brands of soda have in them.

It is okay but lacks the Dr Pepper finish

Dr Pepper is basically prune juice soda. It has this strong fruity finish that is difficult to describe. In any case, I think you're about half way there with this blend. The initial flavor is quite good but the after taste is off. It isn't offensive by any means and I wouldn't mind drinking it. But it is hard to recommend it either. It is "okay". A solid "C+".
Do please compare the after taste of your product with the product you are trying to emulate. The prune juice flavor which is Dr Pepper needs to be a bit stronger and have a more consistent after taste.
