We actually save money with the soda stream, we were throwing away drinks that became flat and now we only make what we want and no throw more tossing old or flat drinks, we also have more room in the refrigerator. This is one of the best items I've purchased.

We used to think the Sodastream tonic was great but since it was changed to the black bottles it doesn't have as much flavor & we have to use it double strength.
