efficient and easy to organize

I've had the refrigerator for a month and a half and I've been very happy with it. I enjoy the split shelves and the flexibility of their placement. They just drop into the standards on the back of the fridge and are very sturdy. The roll-out feature of the shelves is convenient and something I use almost every day. The crisper drawers seem quite large and it's easy to store long items like celery in them. The drawers are also deep, so you can have a head of cabbage in the bottom and then place other items on top. The door has various components that you can arrange or remove as you please. A gallon jug of milk will fit in one of the component shelves. The butter container is large enough to hold three boxes of butter quarters side by side.
The freezer fan on my fridge turns on with a noticeable clicking that goes away after about ten seconds. The freezer is a pretty good size and it's easy to organize frozen foods. The freezer door shelves are wide enough for ice cream containers and one of them has a flip out wire guard so you can stack items on that shelf. The ice maker was an option and I've been happy that I chose it. It seems to work well and isn't noisy.
The LED lights seem to do a great job of lighting the interior. I haven't noticed any dark areas in this fridge at all.

Nice refrigerator

We've only had our Frigidaire for a month, so we're still learning about it as we are continuing to rearrange the shelving inside the unit as well as on the door in an effort to accomodate everything we had in our old refrigerator. It's taller than our old one, which is a bit of a drawback for the shorter members of our family, but not a really big problem overall. We found that unless the freezer is set at its coldest setting our ice cream does not stay firm, something we had read about in reviews before we purchased it. It's fairly quiet and the lighting in both sections is nice and bright. The "party tray drawer" is handy for large flat items like a pizza, and also has given our adult daughter with special needs a place dedicated to her lunch and snack supplies, keeping them separated from those of the rest of the household - a nice bonus!

Disappointed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We spent nearly three years trying to find a suitable top-freezer replacement for our old unit, which had lasted 21 years. We wanted at least 21.5 cu. ft, split shelves and an icemaker. We finally settled on this unit, because there simply wasn't anything else available (from ANY company) that would come close to working for us. When first powered on, it took forever for the unit to become cold enough that we weren't worried about food spoilage, but that seems to be o.k., now. There is a lot of wasted area in both the refrigerator and freezer - the freezer needs one more shelf and we will be having to spend MORE money to order another door shelf to replace the wire rack which "falls open" when you need something from it. The refrigerator door lacks an egg container, but you DO get useless soft drink can dispensers and such. MORE money to spend there for appropriate shelving. Top drawer in refrigerator is very difficult to use - we will most likely remove that and have to purchase one more split shelf. By far, though, the worst thing about this unit (so far) is the POOR fit and finish. Our dealer was kind enough to order replacement freezer and refrigerator doors to replace the ones which came with unit, but the replacements are even WORSE, so we will be returning them. Rough crimps, welds, seams showing and paint defects mar many areas of this unit. the freezer door seal came with a hole in it, too. Replacement has been ordered. And this is Frigidaire's "premium" top freezer? Ugh.

Frigidont, on behalf of Frigidaire, I apologize for any inconvenience your appliance has caused you and your family. I am pleased to hear about the assistance your dealer is providing regarding the doors. Eggs should not be stored on the refrigerator door, but in the main body of the refrigerator to ensure they keep a consistent and cool temperature. This is why an egg carton doesn’t fit in the bin. The door is the warmest part of the refrigerator and the temperature there can fluctuate, especially when the refrigerator is opened. The best location in your refrigerator to store your eggs is on an inside shelf, near the back where the temperature is steady. Should you have need of assistance, please reconnect with us directly by calling Mon-Fri, 8a-8p EST or Saturday 9a-6p @ 877-435-3287. We are here for you. Your friendly Frigidaire lady, Ruth

Many Problems but working now

It started with a blemish in the freezer handle fixed. Then a cracked plastic shelf fixed. But, we still had a persistent noise that was not normal. We are now happy but not pleased with the number of problems we had.

I've had my new fridge about four weeks, and I love it. I like the lights in the freezer and fridge and like the movable door storage bins.

Just OK

I bought this to replace one that was 25 years old and was still working. Wanted to buy a new one before the old one died. I had major problems adjusted the thermostat to the right temps.
Also the unit arrived with dents on the side and top. A real drawback.

I returned this fridge after about 3 weeks does VERY poor temperature control, and I was unable to get it anywhere below 40'F in the fridge. Freezer was OK for temp.
