Large refrigerator for a smaller space.

I bought this refrigerator a couple of months ago and it is great! It replaced an old Frigidaire that was a little smaller. Much more internal space than the old one while fitting into the same opening.

Great layout and space

I bought this a month ago and overall and happy with the fridge. The one difference from my old one is I put the ice cream in the back so it will freeze hard.

Terrible experience

I have been buying Frigidaire appliances for years. Not any more. The seal around the freezer was not attached to the door and the ice maker did not work. The seal was glued back on but a repair technician but there is still a small accumulation of ice on the door. These ice maker was replaced but makes more noise then another brand refrigerator I had for over 10 years.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

A Very Good Choice in a Top Freezer Refrigerator

We have owned this frig about 4 months and have been pleased with it. If has a lot of nice convenience features that make using a traditional frig easier.
The sliding glass shelves are very sturdy and spillsafe. They make it possible to access items in the back without having to stoop and reach in around other items. The clear drawer across the top of the frig is great for small items like yogurt or cottage cheese containers and the drawer has an extra long bracket that allows the drawer to pull out far enough to access everything in it.
The frig door is designed to allow you to move all the various compartments around or to just remove some of them, Once you get that setup you don't really mess with it but it could be useful.
The freezer has a mesh sliding basket and a mesh door shelf basket which make it easy to get to items like frozen fruits or vegtables. The door shelf baskets allow you to put tall items on the door shelf without having to worry about having them fall out when you open the freezer door. The sliding basket has a slight space around three sides which prevents you from cramming too much in and blocking off air flow in the freezer.

As far as operating issues, we have not had any mechanical problems. It runs as quiet as the old style top freezer we replaced. It does make the occasional odd noise but I couldn't say if that was normal for this model or not.
Take note that the freezer is designed to operate around 0 to -5 degrees at maximum setting so if you want a deep freeze you may want to look elsewhere.

Shelving not all its cracked up to be....

We bought this 2 months ago and we're still trying to figure out the best way to organize it. The sales person really talks up all of the extra shelving when in reality if you use all of the extra "storage features" the shelves are too close together and you can't fit anything tall into them. Looking back I would have gotten the bottom of the barrel refrigerator for $500 less and probably been a lot happier.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
