Poor distance but good idea

I purchased the Tone730 about 3 months ago. The product is great for working out and everyday handsfree conversation. The only problem is the short distance that I can walk away from my phone before connectivity is lost. I live in an apartment and I cant walk from my room to the kitchen or from the living room to the kitchen without the annoying vibration and "out of range, trying to connect" message in my ear. That is the most frustrating thing. I love the headset but only if my phone is in my pocket or tucked into my bra! The wires and wire holders are really weak as well. I am always afraid of snapping the wires and the tiny wire holders broke after only a week of wear so now the wires are taped so they dont get in my way.
Pros: easy to use, Features/Settings, sound quality

The best headset

The easiest set to pair to your phone, ipad, ipod, etc....Not having to leave the ear buds in your ear all the time this is a great headset. Vibrates when you don't have the buds in your ear letting you know when you have a call. Has great sound quality. I use the note 3 and love being able to get all my messages read to me and lets me know who the message is by is a great plus.

A bit overly fragile

I received this headset as a birthday gift on July 2nd 2014. Within a week, the wires were coming out of the slot where the cord is. I can not find the original box and the person who bought it for me lost the receipt. I have no idea what my options are at this point.

Disappointed with the quality

I do not recommend this device! A few months after using my headset it started muting my calls which causes my callers to hang up. I can hear them perfectly but they can't hear me. In order to unmute the call, I have to physically retrieve my phone, touch the speaker button to confirm that I'm being heard and continue the call on the cell or the headset and repeat the process when it happens again. Most of times the caller hangs up. This is very annoying to me and my callers. It feels very uncomfortable on my neck and doesn't look good on when dressed up!

Great for MUSIC ONLY

Listening to music is great using these; however, the Bluetooth experience is beyond HORRIBLE! The sound quality is low as heck and it seems to get lower as each month passes. I've had these for approximately 3 months?! HORRIBLE!

Best Headset ever!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My LG Tone 730 lasted over 5 years. They were the best that I have had. One of the earpiece finally went out and then it started having a problem charging. Towards the end I found out they were dual connect. So heartbroken now... i do plan to purchase another pair from LG and hope to find another pair like these.

Best Headset ever!

I have owned many of these in a few colors. Given them as gifts and all the same. Apparently these power switches must have been molded of ABS. they are brittle! But they perform and sound amazing! way better than 700s and 750s 800s etc.... I remove the switches when broken and use a pin till I order another set of switches. Best headset ever so LG fix the switch on these and update the bluetooth version and make better wire clips and i'll give you $150 per headset. Thanks

i received the 730 for my birthday this year and am amazed at the ease of use and sound quality for something at such a reasonable price. i use my headset with my galaxy s3 and have encountered no problems at all. ive always been that guy that hated any of the bluetooth products. i viewed them as ridiculous and completely unnessassary. was i ever wrong. the light weight will make you forget theyre even there. i dont know if i could go a day without them now. extremely highly recommended. avoid retail stores for purchasing them though. you can find them online depending on what sight for roughly 25-50% cheaper. WELL WORTH THE PURCHASE.
