I’m very happy with my ice cream maker. It takes only 50 to 60 min. to make a 1 Quart of ice cream. I wish the machine could make larger portions.

Machine works OK, BUT the recipes have issues. If you follow them and don't know to NOT fill above the instructed paddle area the ice cream overflows -- a lot
The recipes advise mixing the ingredients and then chilling for 2 hours or overnight. Thought this unit was mix, pour and press button, no pre chilling

I love it and the machine works wonderfully but have 1 major annoyance to the overall design of the machine. As the ice cream gets near completion the ice cream comes out the flip lid that you are to use when adding additional condiments near the end. The ice cream gets pushed up and comes out the flap and runs down the front edge of the unit. If the unit was designed to be a little taller or if the flap lip snapped shut with a seal this would prevent it from overflowing. My work around has been to put packing tape across the door to seal it while it is churning. If I need to add any condiments I peal the tape off and reapply it after all my additions have been added for the final 5-10 minutes of churning. This has kept it from running all over. It's the best ice cream and love that I can make batch after batch if desired.

I have been shopping for an ice cream maker for a while and I am glad that I chose it. It makes wonderful ice cream that doesn’t have ice crystals later. It makes ice cream and gelato quickly and cleans up nicely.No ice or rock salt.Adding extras like nuts fruit and chocolate is a snap with the little window.

We purchased on Walmart.com ended up returning. We tried several batches, doing different things each batch.. freezing pot over night, putting icecream batch in refrigerator over night, using fruit, not usi ng fruit.. using heavy cream.. nothing worked.. We ran for almost an hour.. Always a cold liquid.. nothing even came close to freezing even a little.. We were definitely disappointed with this purchase for the price we paid. I would not recommend in purchasing...
