We’ve made two batches of delicious ice cream so far. It is very important not to overfill the tub as it starts to push out the add-in door and leaks out making a mess around the bucket. So don’t assume that the recipe you’re making won’t be too much- especially if you are adding things.
It’s really convenient and nice not to have to freeze the bucket. Machine is a bit cumbersome and heavy.

Hard to clean the machine after churning. Even when filling the bowl with less the maximum amount the frozen product flaws out. There is a gap between the rubber seal and the body that can only be cleaned with a toothpick.

This Cuisinart Ice Cream and Gelato Maker is a game changer!
