I was so please at how quickly the ice cream maker works. I opted for this one as I don't have much freezer space to chill a bowl, as the other models need. This unit is loud, but not so loud it prevents me from listening to music or having a conversation. Plus since the ice cream freezes so quickly, in under 35 minutes, it's not on very long. The trap door works great for adding goodies in the last few minutes and they get mixed in very well and are evenly distributed. I am very happy with this purchase and would highly recommend it.

I love my new ice cream maker from Cuisinart! It makes creamy ice cream in a matter of minutes. The only downside is that any recipe you make has to be chilled for a minimum of two hours before being placed in the mixer and churned. In my opinion, this negates any benefit gained from not having to chill the bowl and paddle beforehand. Overall though it is a good unit and I look forward to making many batches of ice cream in the coming years!

If you, like me, love ice cream but can’t sacrifice half of your freezer to freeze a drum, this ice cream maker will change your life. Not sure what size recipe fits this item. Trying to make recipes from Perfect Scoop leads to ice cream climbing the paddle at 30 mins, far from fully churned, even when I took some out. Very easy to use, make sure to leave upright for 24 hrs before using.

We purchased this ice cream maker to be able to have organic preservative and chemical additive free ice cream. What we’ve made since purchase (butter-rum pecan, and chocolate chip chocolate) have both been amazing. Each took less than an hour to mix and freeze. The machine is fabulous, easy to use and clean.
