This product performs exactly as advertised. I love not having to freeze the bowl ahead of time. The convenience is worth price difference. The setup and operation is 2 button push simple. The ice cream is fantastic!

I don’t like that you can’t put more than 3 cups of liquid, and even then it starts spilling out of the top and making a mess. Also the mixing arm leaves a big wad of ice cream revolving around the top and not keeping it mixing.

I am really enjoying this machine. I tried a less-expensive brand, but that was a disaster (it didn't work); the Cuisinart worked like a charm from the first batch of gelato. Yesterday, I made THREE different gelati in the space of 3 hours (after allowing ingredients to chill in the refrigerator overnight), and they were all a big hit with my company.

I bought this unit to replace an old similar ice cream maker with built-in freezer made by another company. This Cuisinart ICE-100 is superior in every way, the processing container lifts out easily to remove the completed ice cream or gelato, and has different processing blades for both which means they process them quickly and efficiently. It is much quieter than my older model and it is easier to set up and clean. The first batch I made was Carrie Brown's low carb double chocolate hazelnut ice cream and it was so incredibly good, next we made low carb butter pecan, and after that pistachio. They all were superb, better than any low carb ice cream on the market. We are loving it! Highly recommended!

I bought this ice cream maker - based on outstanding reviews, to make ice cream with my grandchildren. I never imagined I’d be making as much ice cream as I have been! I’ve made variations of ice cream with coconut milk, regular milk using eggs as well as egg-less, ice cream with Coffee-flavored Tequila, fruit, chocolate chips, etc. I’m having a blast doing this and the ice cream has turned out perfect each and every time. This is definitely the most used appliance in my home. It’s so easy to use and a breeze to clean. Ice cream is done in about a half hour. Doesn’t get better than this.

I really like homemade ice cream, and this appliance makes it simple and neat. Since it has a freezer compressor built in I don't have to bother with messy ice and salt. It's much quieter than regular homemade ice cream makers that requires ice, so I can set it on any counter inside my home, and it doesn't disturb us while we're talking or watching television. I really like that I can experiment with ingredients and make any flavor ice cream that I choose, and the best part is that I know exactly what me and my family are eating. With the correct cream to milk ratio it brings the ice cream to a perfect consistency for spooning into bowls, and any that's not eaten remains a perfect consistency in the refrigerator freezer. I think it would be better if it made a half gallon instead of one and one half quarts, but I'm satisfied with it.

I'm sorry I didn't buy this sooner! It makes fabulous ice cream and we are a hard to please bunch. Everyone in the house prefers the homemade to every, and I mean every, other brand of ice cream.
