I bought this and made vanilla bean ice cream for a family get together. This made such good ice cream, everyone loved it! It has a compressor so you don’t have to freeze a bowl, and you can make several batches back to back. You can eat it immediately when it’s done and it will be similar to a soft serve or you can freeze it for a couple of hours and it comes out firm similar to regular store bought ice cream. You do have to prep before hand and let the ingredients refrigerate for a couple of hours before putting it in the maker. I just prepped it the night before and let it refrigerate over night. Then in the morning I put it in the maker and let it go! We love it and it’s easy to use.

This is the ice cream make I've waited my whole life for. For years I kept looking at it and dreaming I'd have one someday. Thank you to an unexpected Christmas bonus and this little baby is on my counter. So pretty and easy to use. It's just the perfect ice cream maker.

So far we love it! You do have to be very careful not to overfill or you will have a mess. I've learned to make a double batch of my gelato or ice cream and then freeze it in 3 batches. It doesn't make much at a time but is pretty fast at freezing. When it's my ice cream making day it doesn't matter to me. I do mix my ingredients the day before and refrigerate. It is a little noisy but we run it in our walk in pantry and close the door.
