I really like this machine, its quiet in operation and making ice cream took about 25 minutes or so and it came out great! I even used it to make a frosty paws style ice cream for my 2 dogs.
When it arrived, I set it on the counter and waited 24 hours before turning it on since I found the package was delivered and it was on its side and didn't want to risk damaging the compressor. I have used the salt and ice type, as well as the "freeze the bowl" style ice cream makers and this thing is 100 times better. You can make batch after batch because it has a built-in compressor that will keep the bowl chilled. Love it! Highly recommended.

Ordered this for a Christmas present for my wife, after searching and checking reviews, this was the best machine for our desired purpose for an in home gelato maker. It has lived up to all the reviews, it is super easy to operate and makes great smooth tasting gelato. We have used internet sourced recipes and department store sold pre-mixes and all have worked perfectly. Would I recommend this gelato maker, absolutely resounding yes...
