I can only find one flaw or should I say a change I would like to see. First, this machine works awesome. Easy to use. Any difficulty we see is in preparing the different flavors. Anyway, Cuisinart should make a spoon or spatula that works around the center of the pan to help remove the ice cream easier.

OOHHH! we have ice cream anytime we want and I make the flavors we love. I have done some great flavors and everything turns out good or great. And it's so EASY! hardest part is getting it out of cabinet cause it's heavy. But it's worth it!! and cheaper than buying ice cream.

Really is a 5 star machine but...Can’t change timer up or down while in operation, lid is difficult to close, does not have pre-cool feature and standby only lasts 10 minutes, bowl should be a little bit deeper to compensate for overhead as ice cream expands. Otherwise I use this machine twice weekly as it makes great ice cream. If all above fixes were made by Cusinart nothing would compare to this machine.

We are very pleased with this ice cream and gelato maker. We were previously using a traditional electric maker with ice bucket and don't miss the mess. We can now make ice cream at any time with no worry about buying ice and ice cream salt plus we don't have to worry about the time of day or weather conditions. This Cuisinart ice cream maker makes the perfect amount for our family of five. Also, no need to worry about how much mix you prepare because making a second batch is super simple (empty the ice cream, rinse the parts, refill, and start making another batch).
