Why I chose this ice cream maker over the others.

After vacillating whether or not to buy one and then after much research, I chose this one to be our very first ice cream maker. Why? Because we don't have a lot of freezer space to freeze a bowl before making ice cream, plus it takes planning ahead to remember to freeze the bowl for 24 hours unless you have the space to keep it in the freezer all the time. This unit sits on my kitchen counter and is ready to go whenever we decide to have ice cream and it only takes minutes to make. It's a healtier choice making it at home. Note: Your leftovers, if any, will freeze hard and that's because it doesn't have all the additives store bought products have. Just take it out of the freezer before you start eating dinner and by the time you are done eating, your ice cream is ready to eat. We love it! After using it several times, I know we made the right choice.

We bought this ice cream maker after seeing it on the Great British Bake Off. My husband and I where so impressed we decided to buy it. We have made several different kinds and have been pleased with all of them! The machine is the perfect size making 2 quarts in about 40 minutes.

Works great but it's HUGE and HEAVY! I didn't want to have to keep an ice cream maker liner in my freezer since I have limited freezer space....but this thing is so big! Not sure I would have sprung for the more expensive model if I'd have realized how big it is lol. But it works as advertised and it's my fault for not reading dimensions!

This was a splurge, and I really love it. I have made vegan vanilla with rice milk and also with oat milk and oat cream. Both really good—the oat milk was creamier and the favorite. The regular recipes are really amazing. Only downside is that, although the ice cream takes 45-50 minutes to make, it all has to be pre-mixed and chilled for several hours first. So you can’t just decide to make some ice cream...it takes a little planning! But the appliance is easy to use, and I definitely give it 5 stars. It does what it says it does!

Works fine. Definitely don’t overfill it! Will not work. Machine stops when ice cream is “hard” & won’t turn back on fir add-ins even if it hadn’t run the entire time (about 45 or 50 minutes). You must watch the consistency to determine when to add in other items. Was really looking forward a more consistent and automated process. The ice cream maker works but isn’t as simple as instructions make it seem.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
