I love my new ice cream maker from Cuisinart! It makes creamy ice cream in a matter of minutes. The only downside is that any recipe you make has to be chilled for a minimum of two hours before being placed in the mixer and churned. In my opinion, this negates any benefit gained from not having to chill the bowl and paddle beforehand. Overall though it is a good unit and I look forward to making many batches of ice cream in the coming years!

The machine works perfectly. You should add less mixture (.5-1 c.) to keep it from overflowing. We’re still getting to know the product and we’re working on getting it creamier with no ice crystals.

We really like it. But it’s time consuming. By the time the mixture chills in the fridge , mixes in the machine and it really should go in the freezer for an hour before serving because it’s very soft. It’s just something people should realize before buying this machine. It’s not too loud when it’s on. It’s a little heavy to carry.

I was so please at how quickly the ice cream maker works. I opted for this one as I don't have much freezer space to chill a bowl, as the other models need. This unit is loud, but not so loud it prevents me from listening to music or having a conversation. Plus since the ice cream freezes so quickly, in under 35 minutes, it's not on very long. The trap door works great for adding goodies in the last few minutes and they get mixed in very well and are evenly distributed. I am very happy with this purchase and would highly recommend it.

This is a great ice cream maker. It is easy to use and makes great soft serve ice cream. Our family eats it as soon as it is done, but you can freeze it further if you like harder ice cream. Highly recommend.
