Makes noise, takes way too long

I am disappointed and concerned about the quality of this device . It continually cycles the drain pump. Makes a lot of noise. Plus it takes over 90 minutes to complete the normal cycle. Big waste of energy.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We strive for energy efficiency when we create our appliances. The Department of Energy standards regarding water usage have changed over the years, so the cycle time may be longer than it was in the past in order to ensure the wash performance isn’t negatively impacted. There is information in the manual regarding the approximate cycle times, if that may be helpful for you.
This model is designed to operate at a level of 54 dBAs, which is a bit below the level of moderate rainfall. We regret that this is too loud for you, and will certainly send your feedback on that as well as your other concerns to our Dishwasher Design team for review and consideration. We value your insights, as we always want to know about any concerns our consumers have.
The model runs on a two-pump system, and if you’re having any issue with water pumping out there are troubleshooting steps in the manual, located here: https://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-55097-2.pdf . Our service department is also available at 1-800-432-2737, and would be happy to help if you ever need it.
