The screen has a horinzontal line running across the entire image, I thought when I purchased this it would be the best money could buy. So far it has proven not to be

Hits the sweet spot

It's early days so far, but the new 65X 850C is proving to be a wise purchase for me. Right off the bat before adjusting the picture settings, the black levels on this set are outstanding for an LCD/LED TV. As a videophile and being quite picky about picture quality, it will take a couple of weeks of trial and error before I find the sweet spot of setting up how I want the picture to look. In the meantime, colors are quite vibrant and really pop from the screen. I have not experienced any issues with ghosting, clouding or pixelization to date. I own another Sony 55 inch TV and have always preferred the more natural and accurate picture that Sony TV's deliver compared to others, and this set is no different. 4K upscaling has been very good from 1080p sources. Amazon Prime 4K content showed a crisp, clear and refined picture. Can't comment on Netflix 4K because the app is not available yet, but hoping it will be added soon. It would have been nice if Sony had included at least a couple pair of 3D glasses with the TV- looking forward to trying 3D function. I tried the "Sports" picture mode setting to watch a hockey game and it was just right with no modifications needed. Sound is generally good, but I have a high end Bose sound bar system hooked up and it really produces a movie theater like experience. Blu Rays played on my Sony player also produced a fantastic picture. Great job, Sony.

Would have been a five if it wasn't for the hard reset every time I try to play videos off of USB.
I'm sure this an many other glitches can be fixed with an update...so Sony, what are you waiting for??

The picture on this TV is outstanding. I've watched sports and action movies on the TV and they looked incredible. To add more to the experience, I purchased sony sound bar st-7. The sound is amazing and I literally have a movie theater in my living room... worth every penny spent! And worth the investment.

Beautiful picture with brilliant colors, descent audio even if I don't need it . Difficult finding resources and answers to questions about the TV . Can't wait to actually see 4k content . Switching cable service to Comcast in hopes of getting 4k sooner.

Picture quality is amazing right out of the box

I buy a TV for one purpose: looking at stuff. This model truly excels at this. The 4K resolution is amazing. Colors are so much better than my old television.
Android TV - has hiccups, but I know it will get better. I like the ability to cast my phone. The integrated apps for Netflix, Google Play Movies, Hulu, etc. are working well.
The ability to control my TV using my Google Wear watch is very cool!

I am disappointed the TV doesn't come with a pair of 3D glasses. I understand they're cost prohibitive (and many households might not use them) but I should at least get a discount or coupon or something.
