We have owned this range about a month and are pleased with the style and function. I have always owned GE ranges and have not been disappointed yet.
My last one was over 15 y/o so I am enjoying the more modern features of this model. The preheat is a nice function as well as the ease of burner ignition.
I did save the under burner plates from the old range (they cleaned up good as new) to give extra protection on this one as the new models don't have them.

Cannot seem to get the oven temperature right. It's either too high or too low. Also, the design of the burners appears to waste a lot of the heat when cooking. Unless I got a defective product I don't think this is a range for someone who is really into cooking or baking.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
