I bought this gas range a month ago and so far pretty happy with it. The range looks nice and operates like it's supposed to. The surface is not difficult to clean.

It is a nice appliance, but I have some serious concerns. I have had trouble turning on the oven. I tried several times last Saturday to turn it on and was not able to do so. I also had tried to reset the clock and was unable to get it to move to the correct time. This is a cause for concern on my part. I need to be able to use the oven as I bake quite a bit.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
