I bought this and am happy with it except the height of the grates over the burners are a little higher than my old stove were.

Poor design

The oven and cooktop do a great job. The knobs used to control the cooktop are a poor design because the igniter does not engage until the knob turns180 degrees. Meanwhile, the gas is escaping without being burned. A gentle push is all it takes to start the gas flowing. We have had this happen many times since we bought this stove. We do not trust the design, so we are having to check the stove often to be sure none of the burners are leaking deadly gas.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Oven temp very accurate, and preheats in a short amount of time. Oven racks are very easy to adjust.
