GE® 30" Free-Standing Gas Range

Just purchased this range and once it was converted and up and running, with minimal learning curve, am happy with it's performance. Had a very similar GE we purchased 8 years ago and our propane company had it red tagged for un-repairable gas leakage - so I'm hoping this one lasts longer. I know the days of 30 year old appliances are a thing of the past, but would like to see this one last at least into double digits! I was happy I saved my burner plates from the old GE and using them as this one did not come with them - keeps it so much cleaner! I would suggest GE consider including them for all their ranges.

I bought this product because, I have always want a free standing stove and did not like cooking on a cooktop and the ovens in the wall did not work at all.

Plain Jane but good quality for price

Needed to purchase this gas range two nights before Christmas when ours crapped out. We didn't need nor want a self-cleaning unit since that's just another thing to break, This range is easy to operate and seems easy to care for. The factory temp setting is right on and the Christmas turkey cooked perfectly and in the right amount of time.

This stove was a gift from my kids for Christmas. I just love it! It is very easy to operate. My husband should even be able to use the oven.
