[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is our first dishwasher. After looking at several models, some cheaper and some more expensive, we selected this model. We saw good reviews from CR and other people who had purchased. After two months of use, we would highly recommend. It's quiet and cleans dishes very well. We haven't had an issue with stuck on food or any common dishwasher complaints.

Can it really be this good?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Truly, I had no idea a dishwasher could get dishes as clean as this one does. Dishes I thought were just dingy from age looked sparking after installing the new Bosch. I thought my previous, more expensive dishwasher from another maker was OK, but I was wrong. Not only do dishes come out incredibly clean, but the way the racks are designed and tines closely positioned means I can get more inside than I ever could with any previous dishwasher. I'd recommend this one to everyone.

Great Dishwasher for tthe Price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love our Bosch Ascenta Dishwasher! It's quiet and gets dishes very clean with very little manual pre-cleaning. The only downside is that the signal that indicates a cycle is complete are beeps. We would prefer an end-of-cycle light that could been seen even with the door closed to indicate the dishes are clean. Since the lights and controls are hidden in the top of the door and the machine is so quiet, if you miss the beeps, you have to open the door to know if a cycle is complete. This may cause you to interrupt a cycle in progress. Other than that, this dishwasher is great!

Quiet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Runs very quietly! I like the appearance - looks sleek without the buttons being visible.
However, my main complaint is that it is very hard to tell when the cycle is finished (in part because it is so quiet). I did not know about the red light that is pointed at the floor when it is in use - and I wish I had that feature on mine. Also, there have been occasions where the dishes were not clean! It might be the way we stacked the dishes. And that brings me to my next complaint - I don't like the tines on either rack. I prefer straight, vertical tines that are evenly spaced, instead of the angled tines, where some tines are closer together in one section and further apart in another section. They partially redeemed themselves by having times that fold down. Also, not sure why we need to use a drying solution - seems like un-necessary chemicals.

Long wait for installation

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased on 11/29/19 but was unable to finalize installation until 2/18/20. Delays were due to lack of area representation, our Christmas vacation, death of wife's brother, snow storm, fittings not connectable to what was under the sink. I can assure you that this long awaited installation is a wonder to behold. My old dishwasher was a 1999 GE model and very noisy and not cost efficient. My only request is that my guarantee will run from the installation date and not the purchase date.
