Reliable, Effective & Quiet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've had this dishwasher a couple of months now and are very pleased. We purchased this one as part of a kitchen remodel, but our previous Bosch dishwasher was still working fine. This one is even quieter than the last one and seems to dry better when we have lots of plastics in a load.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Doesn't dry very good. Front kick plate is set back 4 inches and will show flaws in floor not noticable with old machine. Wife really doesn't like it but she is stuck with it for now.

Comparison to Whirlpool Elite

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have purchased the Bosh Ascenta in December and self installed it. Installation was straightforward with instructions provided. Since I've began using this dishwasher, I found that it is a bit louder then my previous Whirlpool elite. However, the quality of the cleaning is better. Dishes are consistently squeeky clean. I also like the innovative racking system which gives more options for the various dishes one might have. Overall I am very happy with this product.

Hard of hearing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My new Bosch is so quiet that I can barely hear it. I have to put my ear to the door to do. That is terrific. However, it would be nice to have lights on the outside of the door so I would know when the cycke is finished.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We're obsessed with this dishwasher. We have oversized plates (nearly 14") and they fit perfectly. It's so quiet (almost too quiet, I do wish we had looked at models with the running light on it because we never know when it's on haha). My only gripe is that it doesn't dry plastics THAT well but I've never met a dishwasher that does so it seems to be a technology problem not a problem with this specific model.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, a super quiet unit. There's only one thing I would change and that is the end cycle beeper never turns off until you open the door and turn it off. If there was a way to disable this feature I would have given this a 5 star rating.
