Too Quiet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this dishwasher a while ago. It was advertised as being very quiet, and it is. In fact, I find that it is too quiet. There is no light up button or other feature to indicate that it is on and washing, so all too often someone in my household -- not the person who started the cycle -- opens the dishwasher to add dirty dishes, not realizing it is in the middle of a washing cycle. The model would be improved if it had some sort of "on" indicator to warn users not to open it. Also, I don't like the way the stand-up tines on the bottom are fixed and cannot be laid down or adjusted, so as easily put in large pots and pans. Finally, the drying cycle does not completely dry the dishes, so there is always water still standing on the bottom of glasses and cups that are not perfectly flat. Otherwise, the dishwasher is doing its job just fine.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very quiet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received and installed it 22 days ago. I can hardly hear it when it is running which I love in our small kitchen. I initially thought that the the controls might be confusing do to their location, but not so. It does an excellent job cleaning only the drying is not as quick as our old machine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m so thrilled to have a dishwasher that cleans really well and dries too! I was loyal to another brand for 20 years and dishwashers that never really worked. I thought it was energy efficiency and that was what we had to deal with in this day and age. I was wrong. My Bosch is FANTASTIC! Every time I open it after cleaning I’m ecstatic! I’ve had it 2 years and it is still a joy. The loading is engineered geniusly. Don’t let anyone sell you a different brand.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this recently and have been using it for a few weeks now. The dishes are clean but once I close the door there are no lights telling me if the unit is on. If I set it to delay at night I have no idea if it actually worked until I come down in the morning to dirty or clean dishes. Sure, it’s not a fancy model but a light to tell me if it is on would be nice.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Truth in Advertising

You will not be disappointed it's so quiet you really need to listen to hear it start. Quietest and best performing dishwasher I've used.
