Very quite. It's hard to hear it run. However, the racks are terrible to load. Very frustrating to try and get dishes to fit. Nothing like my old Bosch. Would not buy this model again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

New Bosch dishwasher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this new Bosch dishwasher from Costco. Such an upgrade from my old Whirlpool one. Very quiet and smart. Like the stainless steel inside and out. Highly recommend it.

A Good Purchase

If I had a wish recommendation, it would be that the unit had an external alert indicating when the washing cycle has been completed, even if just a small light. It does have a buzzer, but even when turned up to the loudest setting, we often miss it.
But we're impressed with this economically priced dishwasher!
