Some weaknesses

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The installation was fairly easy. The washer is quiet and cleans well. However, the door spring is connected to the door by a thin rope. It broke within 6 months. Service is coming out to repair under warranty. Interesting that the replacement parts come in a pair. Weak spot of the dishwasher. Also the utensil baskets don't really fit the side correctly. 1 is ok but the back one doesn't hook right due to the rack configuration
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great dishwasher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really do like my Bosch DW. It's very quiet, and cleans my dishes well. I do wish there was an indicator light to tell when it's in use do we don't open the door mid cycle.

dishwasher is horrible

I had a Kenmore for over 20 years-the same one! When it broke I called my local appliance place and was told Bosch are great. I paid over $600 and then $250 to install(and dispose of the Kenmore) This dishwasher is horrible in everyway. It is loud, takes alot of electricity-although not water-more then the 20 year old one! and most importantly DOES a TERRIBLE job of washing dishes!! I want to return it however then have to pay the $250 again and then again for a new one that actually cleans dishes!!
I really have nothing positive to say.

DISH WASHING WITH BOSCH

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] THIS IS OUR 3rd BOSCH AND WE ARE AS PLEASED WITH THIS NEW ONE'S PERFORMANCE AS WE WERE WITH OUR PREVIOUS MODELS. CLEANS GREAT AND EXTREMELY QUIET. ROOMY AND FITS A LARGE QUANTY OF DISHES AND GLASSWARE.
ONLY 2 THINGS THAT COULD BE IMPROVED ARE THE SILVERWARE BASKETS AND THE CLEANING OF DRIED ON FOODS.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the machine, but man is the interior space SMALL! Not sure why this brand is such a shallow interior depth (front to back). Check this out to compare before u purchase. Cleans great & very quite, so happy with the performance.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this dishwasher being under the impression that Bosch was the best. I find that the design of the racks is awkward and inefficient. The Kitcheaide that I replaced was much better designed for accommodating my dishes, bowls and cutlery. I especially don't like the cutlery baskets, which tend to come loose from the side of the mail rack. I ioalso miss the attachments for holding lids. I also find that the hidden controls are not optimal. I would prefer to shut the dishwasher first, then set the controls. On the plus side, it is very quiet, which I like alot.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
