Do not like the racks

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These racks are obviously designed for someone who does not use cereal or regular soup bowls. If you use nothing but plates this would be fine. The interior is much smaller than my old kitchenaid dishwasher and poorly designed. I really wish I had not bought this item. It washes fine. I also do not like how difficult it is to turn off the rinse aid dispenser or beep at end of cycle.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Better than my last two Bosch dishwashers!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My new Ascenta Dishwasher is quieter and more flexible in choosing washing programs. It also has a straight hadle which accommodates towels with ease! I am very happy with this purchase.

Excellent Dishwasher

Bosch Ascenta Review after a couple washes

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Looks nice, but does not dry dishes or the dishwasher adequately on normal cycle unless you put it on sanitize. I will try using Finish Jet Dry to see if that makes a difference. I would hate to have to wipe it down every time I use the dishwasher.

Quiet and reliable

The dishwasher was very easy to install. At first I was concerned it did not come with a sound blanket. However, it does not need it. It is just right for our home.

Highly rated but missing some amenities

I haven't been able to find information on the time for the full cycle and no way to know how much time to finish. Our last Bosch had that on the door. That was a useful fact. We also miss the 3rd level for silverware & utensils. We focused so much on the very high quality rating for reliability, etc by Consumer Reports that we missed paying attnetion to some other details. We have only had it for a week so can't say much more.

Not up to Bosch standards

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having moved many times over, I've experienced quite a few brands of dishwashers. Bosch has been my top choice - until this one. As I senior on my own, when I began renovations to my current kitchen, I looked for a reliable, basic dishwasher at a good price. This model seemed to meet my needs and indeed, I'm satisfied with the cycle choices and ability to clean the dishes. It also very quiet so thumbs up on that. Loading the dishwasher is another matter and my primary complaint. Both upper & lower racks simply do not permit me to load it to capacity resulting in my having to run the machine way more often than I would like. I do not recommend this dishwasher.
