There are, however, 2 things that kept us from giving 5 stars. 1) The amount of internal space seems smaller than with our old dishwasher, in spite of the fact that the external dimensions are essentially the same. We assume that there is more insulation in the Bosch, and that (of course) is a good thing. 2) On the Express Wash setting, the dishes seem to be less dry after the cycle is complete. On the plus side, even the Express Wash cycle does an excellent job of cleaning the dishes. Thanks

Very quiet and cleans well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our old dishwasher died and we attempted a repair. It was not economical to fix so I asked the repair person for what brand is best and they said Bosch. I did research on Consumer reports and Bosch models were the top rated. This unit is super quiet, like sometimes I think the cycle hadn't started yet. Also our dishes are consistently clean. Not so much with our old dishwasher. The sanitize function is a great feature for when to want to wash pet bowls.

Good Machine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have used this dishwasher for just over two months now. We like it very much for the quietness and efficiency. One dislike we have with it is how the dishes and utensiles fit within the dishwasher. That being said it could be a combination of our dishes and the Bosh design... Everything comes out clean, we are happy with our purchase and would do it again.

A couple of concerns

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bosch Ascenta dishwasher is very quiet and cleans excellently. The only downside is the multiple rack configurations which limit flexibility in loading dishes of multiple sizes in multiple location. The silverware baskets only allow single items loaded in pre-configured slots or in a wide open basket. More basket divisions when the screen is removed would be more helpful.

Great Dishwasher, but...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We really like our new Ascenta Diaswasher, (it effortlessly cleans the dishes,) but... I'm approaching 80, and my hearing isn't what it used to be, especially in the high frequency range. Consequently, I'm not able to hear the "job done" signal when it sounds. I would prefer to have a signal light on the face of the diswasher that indicates either "when it's operating" or when it's "finished".
