Dependable and sleek

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are very happy with this dishwasher except for the top rack. Its dividers are not aligned with the sizes of our cups and glasses and so a lot of space is wasted. I wish we could exchange the top rack for one that is more "normal."

Very quiet and powerful

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The dishwasher came with the pump hanging from the bottom, but I had no problem with the warranty and we had a guy come out and diagnose and order new parts. The pump had a broken mounting brace and had to be replaced and we found a few wheels that clip on the internal racks were chipped and broken. All in all the warranty/repairman experience was better than I thought.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was looking for a dishwasher that did a great job washing and the machine is great. CR stated that drying was good and washing was excellent and it is true for me. I am very pleased with the machine. The only doubt I still have is the different facts between Half load and Speed wash as manual only states the obvious. Like: is Half load the same length to wash? Is it top, or bottom only, or both ? Is speed wash half the time or 1/3 the time and is it both racks or only one? I read but could not find those facts.

Love Bosch Quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is our second Bosch dishwasher. The last one gave out after 15 years. So far (two months) all the dishes come out spotless and clean. This one isn't quite as quiet, but still we can't hear it from the next room. On the plus side the cycle is a little shorter. I thought I would love the hidden controls, but it's a bit annoying not to be able to see how much time remains till the cycle is complete.
Everything needed for installation was included and the installation went smoothly.
I would buy this again.

Good With one Caveat

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We sprung for this dishwasher after being very frustrated with a less than old LG dishwasher that was having errors and not washing properly. This one had great reviews and was available at our local Lowe's.
We got it home, and upon reading the manual, realized that it only came with a plug, and the part that one needed to hard wire it was a $20 accessory.
That was annoying to say the least, but we managed to find one at a nearby Best Buy and got in the door to buy it 5 minutes before closing.
Once we had all of the parts we needed, installation was as straightforward as any dishwasher. But having to buy an additional part was less than awesome.
Performance wise, the dishwasher does an amazing job, and has some quick cycles, which is really nice. The dishes come out very clean, although we do rinse off all food before loading. The manual says not to but we don't want to clog our drainage pipe with junk.
Loading it has taken some getting used to. There aren't a lot of spaces for larger items like glass pitchers, but we normally hand wah the big bowls etc so it's not a big deal.
We have a large family and run it every night. It's very quiet, which we appreciate since it's near the family room and TV which we watch a bit in the evenings.
My very favorite feature of the dishwasher is the buttons on the top. My 2 year old used to come by and power off the old dishwasher halfway through the nearly 2 hour cycle, and we would have to start it over again! It was terribly frustrating, but is an issue no more!
So far I would highly recommend this machine, especially if you have a toddler that likes to push buttons (what toddler doesn't?). It's pretty to look at as well, and seems to live up to the anti smudge stainless finish claim!
