Huge Upgrade!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dishwasher has been fantastic! It does an amazing job of cleaning dirty pots and pans and runs whisper quiet.

new Bosch Ascenta dishwasher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We remodeled our kitchen and got this new dishwasher. Our old dishwasher was noisy, leaked onto the floor sometimes, didn't get the dishes clean or dry. This one is quiet, gets all of the dishes clean and dry, even the tupperware! and of course it doesn't leak. We love it! Highly recommend this one! Also it has a pull down for wine glasses so they won't break, and lots of settings to choose from. sleek looking and doesn't show fingerprints.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Am happy with everything EXCEPT: There is no indicator on the outside of the door to advise when dishes are done, sanitized, even if they have been washed. Not smart for families where everyone is trained to put dirty dishes in the washer. We have done clean loads more than once, put dirty dishes in a clean load, etc. Also, would prefer the handle be built into the door. Ours is located corner to drawers and we have to open the dishwasher to open the top drawer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Ascenta Dishwasher is a replacement for a Bosch that we had previously for 16 years. Obviously, Bosch manufactures a quality, long-term product (16 years is approximately twice as long as a dishwasher is usually expected to last). Design-wise, the Ascenta is quietly minimalist. The controls are very full-featured, including (but not limited to) an Auto wash selection that determines the level of cleaning required. The dishwasher is very conservant of water and energy, and is very quiet during operation; the loudest noise it makes is the beep sequence when the dishwasher has finished! This is a personal opinion, but when the dishwasher is finished, it is a good idea to open the door slightly to allow for the escape of heat, which in turn prevents too much condensation within the dishwasher. The Ascenta is a solid product with no real negatives; if you are looking for dishwasher that gets the job done, without a lot of fancy extras, at a fair price... then you will find what you are looking for in the Ascenta.
