[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 4 year old Bosch dishwasher has been junk almost from the start. Leaves most dishes with caked on food. Think beige slime grows in the drain area. We always preclinical the dishes, but this doesn't help.

Difficult "options" settings

Am liking my dishwasher more each time I use it-was installed on 10-2-14, replacing mine of 22 years use. Needless to say the quiet feature is simply wonderful. The capacity and options for the racks are just great, allowing more flexibility in types of items, i.e. pots, large casseroles, cooking utensils (large spoons, spatulas, etc.). Now if I could just get the "options" figured out I would be very, very happy.

Very quiet, but rack lay-out is difficult

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very quiet dishwasher and the features are all right. Our complaint is that the racks only seem to accommodate "traditional" dishes, not a lot of designated room for bowls or plastic items such as Tupperware, etc. Wish I had looked more closely at that aspect.

Impressed...until it mysteriously stopped working

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We renovated our kitchen 4 years ago and chose this model for its sleek appearance and quality Bosch reputation. The dishwasher has worked well and we'd had no issues until a few months ago when the plastic handle started to fall apart. Then, the unit just totally stopped working one day (after having run fine just a few days before). We had one repair person come who was unable to diagnose/solve the problem and we have a second technician coming later this week to hopefully repair it. I am not pleased at having to shell out several hundred dollars to fix a 4 year old appliance (especially when our previous dishwasher was 12+ years old and worked fine when we replace it for aesthetic reasons). As an architect, I will not be able to recommend Bosch appliances to a client without noting my experience.

Excellent dishwasher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had my Bosch for a few years and absolutlely love it. Now that I use the Platinum washer pods everything comes out shining like new. At first I was troubled by some items remaining a bit wet when I open the completed cycle. That is because this machine does not have a heat cycle and brilliantly captures heat from the hot water during the wash cycle. The beauty is that it is energy efficient as a result . I am perfectly happy to wipe 5 % of the dishes or pots now. It is worth the savings. And the machine is so incredibly quiet. I love it.
