OH MY GOSH, LOVE IT!!!!

Electrolux has accomplished making a range with a brain easy to use for us older, technology challenged people. I had no problem learning to use it. I won't tell you everything great because I don't want to take away all the surprises, but here are a few things. INDUCTION: Highly recommend it. Water Boils faster than in microwave and heat adjustments are quicker than with gas. Boiling water goes from high boil to no boil with the touch of 1 button. Stovetop does not get hot so I put parchment paper under my pot while cooking and all spills and splatters fall on it. Easy clean up. I love using cast iron skillets. I sanded the bottom so it would not scratch the glasstop and in addition I put the parchment paper under it so there is added protection from scratches. Down side is that you may have to replace your existing pots and pans if a magnet does not attach to the bottom of them... but what lady is not looking for an excuse to get new pots and pans (smile).CONVECTION: You have many choices in the oven. If you don't know how to cook with convection, Electrolux has done the thinking for you with the convection converter feature. The brain will determine, based upon your conventional baking instructions, what temp and for how long it should cook by convection. In addition in the oven you can cook with traditional heat, you can defrost, dehydrate, and slow cook. It even has a thermostat probe which takes away the guesswork when cooking meat to the correct temperature. Look out microwave, crockpot, electric ranges, gas ranges, thermometer, and dehydrator. All of you are soon to become extinct.

Love Induction!

There isn't a feature I dislike on this range. It cooks fast and even, The oven bakes consistently and the temperatures are bang on. I did have a problem with the faceplate on the console popping loose on one side. It was repaired without any trouble. The person who had issues with repair.....not sure why. I got this range after having no luck with the Samsung Induction range. The cooktop was fine but the oven didn't maintain the temperature. The price for this was quite a bit more but the quality difference is noticable. I've had it a little over a year and love it.

versatile range

Love this range. Highly powerful, instantly responsive and great control in the lower temperature ranges that my former gas range could not come close to matching.
I happen to be a yogurt maker and this oven very pleasantly surprised me with an unsuspected feature. If you leave the oven off, but the oven light on, the lights alone heat the oven to 110-115 which is the perfect temperature at which to incubate yogurt. Much better than my old single-light oven.
My bread also does better using the proof and convection modes, functions that I never had before. And the roller-bearing center oven rack, the blue interior and the oven door that stays put where you set all just feel good!
I also appreciate that I do not have an open flame in my house anymore. When doing a lot of baking with my gas oven I used to get a little ill feeling after a couple hours in the kitchen. Not so now.
On the down-side, the convection oven fan malfunctioned soon after the unit arrived but "Mr. Appliance" had that replaced in about a week, no problem, and all has gone well since.

Thrilled!

This is one of the best purchases I've made. I've cooked on electric all my life, because gas was not available and have never liked electric. After thorough investigation, I picked the freestanding Electrolux induction range. It is EVERYTHING the literature said, no lie! It may take slightly longer to boil water than stated, especially if it's a larger amount, but it still amazing! The control of the heat is UNBELIEVABLE! I use the stove top more now and the microwave less, because it's so fast and the food tastes better. The oven has an odd smell when on, but I'm hoping that will resolve as the newness wears off. My only regret is that this wasn't available 20 years ago. I hope the repairs are not a disappointment; time will tell!

I researched and researched and was very nervous about going with induction but I have never enjoyed cooking more! I LOVE the induction range, and after over a year of consistent use (and wonderful results) I have had zero problems with my Electrolux range. I really, really enjoy using this range.

Wave-touch is a debatable convenience

Looks cool in the showroom but do you really want to have to touch to turn on every function as you decide how to cook? Turning a knob is more convenient. And if programming such devices confuses you, this is not for you. The controls at the back of the range are hard to see (I have to bend down) even after doing $500 worth of remodeling to raise the over-the-range microwave (also Electrolux). Digital TEMP readout for oven was faulty after only a few weeks. Only first two number show. No criticism of how cook top or oven perform. Second oven is of very limited usefulness.

This started out to be a great product then it broke and it can not be fixed. I am so sorry the money that was spent on the oven and the warranty was wasted.

I must admit that I do not like to cook, however since we purchased the Electrolux induction range I enjoy cooking. Heat is even, and everything cooks in 1/2 the time or less than my old range.
We did have to purchase new cookware to use with the induction range.
Very user friendly and simple to clean! I love my induction range and it's worth the money! Very happy with our purchase.
