The phone screen is very weak. 3 exchange the same thing happen to every phone. The screen pop off like it so fragile. I thought nokia is durable ? guess their product aren't. The phone program freezes. Multiple time even when left in pockets. My first Nokia and it will be my last.

1/2" too big

If this phone were a 1/2" smaller, I would have bought it without question. 5.5" would have been perfect. 6" is just over the threshold of being too big. The features are really amazing though.

Good, could have been better

Pro:
1. Offline Maps and Navigation.
2. Large Screen.
3. Very good battery life.
4. Clear screen
Con:
1. Cannot change text size to be smaller than a particular size. So many times you see same quantity of data as on other phones but bigger size. Would be nice to allow reducing size to accommodate more content on screen.
2. On maps, you have option to view ATM or gas stations, etc but cannot navigate to it by trying to select it from map. You have to go to search.
3. The sound quality is not great. Sort of sounds like the other person is speaking by keeping phone mic very close to mouth.
4. Cannot edit a letter from a word. E.g: I mistakenly type in hotmsil instead of hotmail, now I need to retype the whole word instead of just changing s to a. Selecting particular character or repositioning cursor is very difficult. With larger screen I expected this kind of editing to be easy.
5. No easy way to hide keyboard.
6. Tried to send feedback to Nokia multiple times from phone but fails everytime. Same for Nokia maps. Seems you cannot send feedback though they have the option. Is this deliberate?
7. Voicemail needs me to be disconnected from WiFi. That is foolish.
8. Disk space is very poor, only 16GB.
Pros: Personal, Business

I miss Android

I absolutely hate this phone. I don't ever remember hating anything in my life more than I hate this phone. I miss my old Android that hardly worked anymore, because it did so much more than the Nokia Lumia.
The Apps are terrible, the operating system is horrible, I can only access brand new emails, every calendar event I program somehow saves several times, the auto-correct makes me sound like an idiot, (hey Nokia, I typed "look" in the email to a prospective new employer, why did you change it to "lol"?).
I saw the awesome reviews for the Nokia Lumia, but I wonder if they're real.

Eh. Just Eh

I have had this phone since January. The battery is decent, the charge keeps on going down. Not many options for the cases of the phone. There are many problems with this, such as the phone keeps on opening apps at random; such as, always opens up the camera app when I do not need to. The phone has great potential, but lacks what other phones have... the apps. I would not recommend this phone, mainly because there are too many issues that are not updated, since there are rarely any updates.

Not worth it

Its a great phone at first, awesome video and camera, texting works great, the phone as a phone works great. the only HUGE downfall is the apps. you'll think you'll get over it after a few months with the phone, but the lack of apps only shows more and more as you use you phone more and more. some of the basic apps that you would expect, like Instagram and vine, don't work very well (and i believe the Instagram is still in its beta). Sure there are some apps that work to replace the official ones, but they are missing a few crucial apps that aren't even available at all. If you like, have, or are even interested in snapchat, don't buy this phone, for the app is nonexistent on this platform.
durability is fine for a few months, but due to the size of the phone, it is susceptible to slide out of your pocket due to its weight. If you do buy this phone you will probably want a case for it to. guess what?? there are very few cases available for this phone. took me about 6 months to find a decent one. another downfall is that with it already being a big phone, the case will only make it bigger, making it harder to put in your pocket, and more annoying to carry around.
even though Nokia are notorious for being a durable phone, it still is able to crack and become damaged. the outside color hides damage very well, but once you crack the screen, its game over. the phone, being the size and weight that it is, will be more prone to drop, slide and fall to the ground. It will stand it for a while, but the constant slips that happens in life will ultimately leaving you with a cracked screen sooner or later.
Overall, be cautious if you are going to get this phone. its not easy to replace and is quite expensive as well. its a great conversation starter and good for the basics like communication and camera, but if your looking for something that will allow you to stay updated with the latest apps and ease or even use basic one, like i had previously mentioned, look for another product. Windows has not been able to compete with the apple and android when its come to apps, no matter much the push that they are getting better. it may be true, but its happening at a snails pace. by the time they probably get the apps you want, you could have been using them for the year or so with another phone and possibly even the new latest and greatest one that windows hasn't even touched yet.
I hoped this helped you in your search for your new phone, remember, this phone is frustrating, and will take time to get used to. you'll be able to manage it while its not cracked, but once it does, things will stop working for no reason and it will be unbearable to work with

Great potential, poor execution

This phone has the potential to be truly amazing. The OS is clean and refreshing. Pinning apps to a scrolling screen makes it easy to quickly find any app. The live tiles are also a great feature. The screen has great resolution. I love word flow for texting. Cortana is much more aware and helpful than Siri.
Sadly, the camera died within the first month of use. The camera took wonderful pictures, it's too bad that the hardware failed. In addition to the camera issue, whenever Cortana is pinned to the Start screen, the app locks up the phone and drains the battery (from a full charge to 0% in less than two hours). This happened on four occasions. Even unlocking the phone causes the screen to be stuck on constant "resume..." or "loading..." until a soft reset is performed. After removing Cortana from the Start screen, the phone worked fine.
