Some wishes

with all positives, there are few points to improve:
1. Hardware: the speaker quality is definitely step down, compare to model 920.
2. Can't turn off haptic feedback(vibration) for touch keys.... annoyance
3. Camera application(s) interface is cumbersome
4. OS: inability to turn on bitlocker (encryption) unless using exchange policy, which is not option for non-corporate user.
4. Build in Office does not support Microsoft Office password protected documents.

I do not own this phone, but I do wish to. I am currently with Verizon... and so disappointed that it is not available at Verizon. I gave the ratings based on what I thought of the device. I NEED THIS PHONE!!! Big fan of windows and Nokia. My update is coming up in a few months and I really want to get this device with a two year contract... without switching carriers.

Nokia 1520 is a great phone, the one thing that, i don't like about it. Doesn't have lot of red accessories for nokia 1520 or general.

best camera on a phone after lumia 1020

equipped with the best camera out there for 20 mp range which only falls second to a lumia 1020, i felt a big difference by switching to this device from my previous android phones, the windows phone 8 interface is fast and responsive. however i'm sad to hear that microsoft is going to change the nokia name to there own brand, which will take out the value of my 1 month used lumia 1520 instantly. i'm never going for another windows phone.

operating system always has problems

I tried 3 of these phones and all 3 have the same 2 problems.
- while listing to music after a while the sound drive crashes. I have to restart the phone to make the sound work again.
- Sometimes when trying to go the the start screen a blank screen is displayed with a loading indicator. Sometime the indicator goes away after a few seconds, sometimes I have to restart the phone to make it work.

I have tried to reset the phone and the problems persist.
other that the 2 problems noted, the device it nice. Even though the 1520 is bigger than the 920 the 1520 weighs less the the 920 does.
