Bowl cracked after a few months of use

I read the reviews that mentioned the bowl is prone to cracking but figured if I handled it with kid gloves it would be fine.
I never placed in the dishwasher, always only hand washed and the bowl cracked in two places all the way down from the top to the bottom.
Cuisinart customer service was no help as the replacement bowl has been out of stock for months.
Do not buy this product unless you’re ok having a bowl that’s taped together.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
